Hello, I am glad you have found me here on 7cups. I am a verified trained listener and I am here to listen with all my heart to whatever is troubling you.
I came here on 7 Cups due to some personal issues I was facing and I realized how comforting and helpful it can be for someone to gently, carefully, actively listen to you without judging. It helps give a new understanding and perspective to your problems and realize there may be more than one alternative.
I am an economist by training and I love reading, boating, gardening , DIY, cooking, photography and knitting. I live with my husband, two sons, a dog and two cats.
A few guidelines for you if you choose to talk with me:
1. I do not take on more than one 1:1 chat. I will really listen to whatever you have to say, giving you my full attention. I will try to help to the best of my ability without judging you.
2. I am not uncomfortable talking about sex if there is something you really need to talk about. If you get a kick out of anonymously sexting however, you will find yourself blocked-no further warning.
3. I do not put a time limit on chats and will be happy to chat with you on a more long term basis, even on a daily basis or more than that if you feel stressed and need my input. I will not tolerate however undue delay in your responses. As I respect you and give you my full attention, I expect the same. Any delay of more than 3' in responding means the conversation is over. If you have to go away and want to continue later, I request that you politely say so, rather than just disapear.
